Disclaimer:
What to Know Before We Begin
Before we start working together whether in weekly therapy sessions, a Couples Rapid Transformation Experience, or an Individual Intensive I want you to feel informed, supported, and clear about what to expect.
Therapy vs. Information
The information on my website is here to educate and inspire, but it isn’t a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or legal advice. Our actual therapy work begins only after we’ve had a consultation, confirmed we’re a good fit, and completed the intake and consent process.
Who I Work With
I work with individuals and couples who are ready to explore meaningful change.
For individuals, this might mean processing trauma, moral injury, anxiety, or attachment wounds; navigating life transitions; or shifting long-standing patterns.
For couples in weekly therapy, it often means strengthening communication, deepening trust, reigniting intimacy, or learning to navigate conflict in a healthier way.
For couples or individuals in a Rapid Transformation Experience, it’s about diving deeper into the root patterns that drive disconnection, distress, or uncertainty, and creating lasting shifts in a concentrated amount of time.
The Rapid Transformation Experience, whether individual or couples, is a powerful, immersive format, but it’s not the right fit for everyone. It works best for those ready to go deeper and who are not in an active crisis or unsafe situation. We’ll talk openly about your needs and decide together if this format is right for you, or if weekly therapy, or a combination of both, will serve you best.
Crisis Support
I do not offer same-day or urgent appointments. If you are ever in crisis, individually or as a couple, it’s important to get immediate help. In the U.S., you can call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call/text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you’re outside the U.S., please reach out to your local emergency services or crisis hotline. You deserve support right away.
Your Privacy Matters
Everything you share in our work whether in an individual session, weekly couples therapy, or an intensive remains confidential, except in situations where the law requires me to act to protect you or others (for example: imminent harm or reports of abuse). In couples therapy, I maintain transparency by discussing how information is shared between partners, as I will not keep secrets, so confidentiality supports the health of the relationship. We’ll review these guidelines together in your consent forms before beginning.
Results and Expectations
Therapy and intensives can be deeply impactful, but they are not “quick fixes,” and no specific outcomes can be guaranteed. What I can promise is my full presence, advanced training, and genuine care in helping you reach your goals whether that’s feeling more grounded in yourself, strengthening your relationship, or both. We’ll work together to create the conditions for meaningful, sustainable change.
If You Have Other Providers
If you’re already working with another therapist, psychiatrist, or medical provider, adjunct therapy (including the Rapid Transformation Experience) can be coordinated to complement your existing care. With your permission, I’m happy to collaborate with your other providers so your support system works in alignment.
The bottom line: Whether you come to therapy as an individual, as a couple, or both whether we meet weekly or in an intensive format my goal is to create a space where you feel respected, informed, and supported so you can step into this work with clarity, confidence, and the possibility of real transformation.
Privacy Policy:
Your Privacy Matters
Your trust is the foundation of our work together, and I take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. Here’s what you can expect when it comes to protecting your personal information whether you’re reaching out for the first time, attending weekly sessions, or participating in a Rapid Transformation Experience.
What You Share in Therapy Stays in Therapy
Everything you share in our sessions individual, couples, or intensives remains private, except in a few situations where I’m legally required to act to keep you or others safe:
If you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or someone else.
If you disclose abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent/vulnerable adult.
If a court orders me to release records.
We’ll go over all the details in our consent forms so you understand exactly how confidentiality works before we begin.
How I Protect Your Information
I use a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record system to store session notes and records securely.
Any emails or messages containing sensitive information are handled with care and kept as private as possible.
I never sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes.
If You Contact Me Online
If you use my website contact form, email, or text to get in touch, please keep in mind that these methods aren’t 100% secure. They’re great for scheduling or general questions, but I recommend avoiding highly sensitive details in these messages.
Your Rights as a Client
You have the right to:
Access your records and request corrections if needed.
Decide how I contact you (phone, email, text).
Withdraw consent for non-essential communication at any time.
If You Have Questions Contact
If you’re ever unsure about how your information is handled or want to know more just ask. I’m always happy to talk about privacy and confidentiality so you can feel fully informed. If you have any questions about these Privacy Policy, please contact:

Terms of Use:
How to Use This Site
I’m so glad you’re here. This website was created to share information, resources, and insights about therapy, trauma recovery, and personal growth. Before you explore, here are a few things I want you to know so you can feel clear about how this site works.
This site is for information, not therapy
Everything you read here is for education and reflection. It’s not a substitute for professional mental health care and doesn’t replace working with a licensed therapist. If you’d like to explore working together, we’ll connect through a consultation and follow the intake process before therapy begins.
No therapy relationship yet
Reaching out through a contact form or email is a great first step, but it doesn’t make us official. A therapist–client relationship starts only after we’ve both agreed to work together and you’ve signed the required forms.
Respect for privacy
I value your privacy. If you share information through the contact form, email, or text, I’ll treat it with care. Just know that these aren’t 100% secure methods, so I recommend keeping sensitive details for our private sessions.
Where my services are available
Because of licensing laws, I can only provide therapy to clients who are physically located in states where I’m licensed (currently Texas, Oregon, and Washington). If you’re outside these states, you’re still welcome to use the resources here, but I can’t provide therapy services.
Links to other resources
Sometimes I link to other websites or resources. I choose these carefully, but I can’t control or take responsibility for their content or privacy practices.
The bottom line
Please use this site as a place to learn, explore, and get a feel for how I work. If you want to take the next step toward therapy, I’d love to connect with you for a consultation.
