WHEN TALK THERAPY ISN’T ENOUGH

Sasha Flores, LCSW-S

Integrative, body-based therapy and Rapid Transformation Experiences, informed by advanced, evidence-based modalities for meaningful, lasting transformation.

If you’ve been holding it all together for a long time, you might be starting to feel the cost of that.

Maybe you’re used to being the strong one, the one who shows up, performs under pressure, stays busy, and pushes through no matter what’s happening underneath. From the outside, things may look steady. But internally, something feels off.

The stress doesn’t just disappear.
Eventually, your mind and body start speaking for you.

You might notice it showing up as:

  • Feeling numb, disconnected, or shut down or the opposite: constantly on edge, tense, or bracing for what’s next

  • Losing time, feeling unreal, or struggling to stay present when things get overwhelming

  • A mind that won’t slow down loops of worry, self-doubt, intrusive thoughts, or constant “what ifs”

  • Sudden waves of panic or overwhelm that don’t seem to make sense in the moment

  • Relationship or intimacy patterns that don’t feel like you, or feel shaped by something older

  • Behaviors or coping patterns that feel out of control, confusing, or hard to talk about

  • Deep physical and emotional exhaustion especially when you’re also navigating health challenges or chronic stress

  • The identity shifts and emotional strain that can come with parenthood, postpartum changes, or major life transitions

  • The pressure to perform whether as an athlete, professional, parent, or partner without space to fall apart

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to keep managing it on your own.

This work is designed for people like you.

You don’t need to explain everything perfectly. You don’t need to have it all figured out.

This is a space for honest, grounded work without judgment, without shame, and without minimizing what you’ve been through.

Just steady, evidence-based, body-informed support from someone who understands the realities of high stress, invisible burdens, and what it takes to begin feeling like yourself again.

If you’ve done therapy before and something still isn’t shifting, you’re not alone.

You may have insight. You may understand your patterns.
And yet, certain responses, how you feel, react, or shut down, continue to show up in ways you can’t quite change.

At a certain point, the work needs to go deeper.

Some patterns aren’t resolved through talking or thinking alone. They live in the body and nervous system, shaping your experience from beneath awareness. This is where our work begins.

A Private, Depth-Oriented Approach

I offer a highly individualized, private therapeutic experience for those seeking meaningful, lasting change.

My work integrates advanced, evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Brainspotting, hypnotherapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy alongside nervous system–focused and relational approaches.

Each session is tailored with care and precision, allowing us to work in a way that meets you where you are while gently moving toward what’s possible.

This work is both clinically grounded and deeply human.

If you’ve tried to push through, make sense of things, or “do the work” and still feel stuck, there’s nothing wrong with you. It simply means your system hasn’t yet been met in the way it needs.

In our work together, you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or carry it alone.

You’re met with presence, respect, and a steady, attuned approach that allows things to unfold at the right pace.

What Changes

Over time, clients often notice:

  • Feeling more steady and less reactive

  • A greater sense of connection to themselves and others

  • More space between triggers and responses

  • Relief from patterns that once felt automatic

Not because you forced change but because your system no longer needs to hold those patterns in the same way.

Private Work

This is a limited, private practice with a focus on depth rather than volume.

I work with a select number of clients to ensure each person receives a high level of attention, care, and continuity. This allows for a more thoughtful, immersive process—whether through ongoing sessions or extended, focused work.

The goal isn’t just to understand yourself.
It’s to feel different in your life.

More grounded.
More connected.
More like yourself again.
