Meet Your Therapist
Hi, I’m Sasha. I’m a trauma therapist, veteran, and former first responder in both law enforcement and healthcare. Like many of the people I work with now, I’ve lived inside the realities of service the weight of responsibility, the moments of terror and horror that cling to you, impossible to unsee, unhear, unfeel, or unknow, and the way survival mode can take over when there are no other options.
Those experiences shape me, but they don’t define me and that’s the same belief I carry into my work with you. I understand how easy it is to push pain aside just to keep moving, how hard it is to explain things to someone who hasn’t been there, and how lonely it can feel when no one else sees the cost of holding it all together.
Now, I help people begin to release what they’ve carried finding steadiness in the body, clarity in the mind, and connection in relationships again. My approach is direct and structured, but always deeply human. I’ll meet you where you are, with compassion, respect, humor, a bit of sarcasm and a clear path forward.
Before I ever sat in a therapist’s chair, I wore combat boots, a badge, and scrubs. I served in the U.S. Army, worked in law enforcement, and moved through the medical world, from inpatient units to hospice care often in the role of first responder. I come from a long line of military service, first responders, and I know firsthand what it’s like to carry the weight of duty, push down pain just to keep going, and slowly feel the disconnection that happens when survival mode becomes the only way to function.
That lived experience is what brought me here. Since 2016, I’ve been helping people individuals, couples, and professionals find their way back to themselves after trauma, loss, or years of high-pressure living. My work is less about “fixing” and more about reconnecting: to your body, to your story, to your relationships, and to the parts of yourself that may feel lost, buried, or shut down.
My Approach
Healing doesn’t happen by only talking about what went wrong. It happens when your mind and body can finally shift out of survival mode.
That’s why my approach is integrative and body-based. I combine some of the most effective, evidence-based trauma therapies available with nervous system practices that help you not just understand your trauma, but actually feel the change. Together, we’ll work on calming the body, reprocessing the past, and building safer, stronger connections in the present.
Here are some of the tools and trainings I bring into our work:

The Heart of Our Work Together
If you’re here, you might be carrying trauma or moral injury, navigating cycles of shame or self-criticism, or feeling stuck in patterns of stress, numbing, or compulsive behaviors. Maybe your relationship feels strained under the weight of unspoken pain. Or maybe you’re a high achiever, performer, or service professional who looks “fine” on the outside but feels exhausted, disconnected, or haunted by the past.
Wherever you’re starting from, my role is to create a space that’s structured but deeply human. You’ll get a therapist who is both direct and compassionate—someone who respects your strength but also holds space for your pain. You don’t need to translate service culture, high-demand environments, or the invisible weight of trauma to me. I already understand.
Together, we’ll work step by step to:
🌿 Build safety and steadiness in your body
🌿 Make sense of your responses without shame
🌿 Heal old wounds that still live in your nervous system
🌿 Restore connection in your relationships
🌿 Reclaim the parts of you that feel lost, buried, or cut off
My Why
I know healing isn’t about erasing the past it’s about learning how to live fully with it, without being defined or controlled by it. My passion is helping people shift from surviving to actually living again with more clarity, connection, and freedom to show up as their full selves.
You don’t have to walk this path alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Who I Work With
Veterans, first responders, law enforcement, and healthcare providers – For those carrying the weight of service, responsibility, and repeated exposure to crisis. Therapy provides a space to release what you’ve had to hold, without needing to explain the culture of your work.
Athletes, performers, and creators – Support for navigating high pressure, visibility, performance stress, creative blocks, or identity struggles when your work is tied to being “on.”
High achievers and professionals – For those who appear successful on the outside but feel burned out, numb, disconnected, or stuck in cycles of self-criticism on the inside.
Living with trauma and moral injury – Healing from complex or childhood trauma, attachment wounds, or the inner conflict of moral injury when past experiences clash with your deepest values.
Anxiety, depression, and dissociation – Guidance through cycles of panic, shutdown, or emotional numbness.
Shame, guilt, and self-criticism – Transforming the inner voice that keeps you feeling unworthy or “not enough.”
Substance use and compulsive behaviors – Understanding and shifting the patterns you’ve used to cope with pain or overwhelm.
Problematic sexual behaviors and compulsions – Addressing sexual urges or actions that feel out of control, secretive, or misaligned with your values and relationships.
Religious trauma and harmful belief systems – Gentle support for those reclaiming identity and autonomy after spiritual abuse or high-demand environments.
Beyond talk therapy – For those ready to move past surface-level insight and into body-based, evidence-informed tools for lasting healing.
What You Can Expect
Working with me is structured, but never rigid. I bring both evidence-based tools and a deeply human presence. You’ll have a therapist who is direct and clear, but also warm, compassionate, and attuned to what you carry. I respect the resilience it has taken to get here, while making room for the pain, grief, or exhaustion that may still feel unspoken.
You don’t need to educate me on the culture of service, performance, or responsibility. You don’t need to prove your trauma “counts.” Whether it comes from the battlefield, the hospital floor, the stage, the studio, or your own home, your story matters. You only need to show up as you are.
Together, we’ll slow things down so your nervous system can finally find steadiness. Step by step, we’ll work toward building safety in your body, clarity in your mind, and connection in your relationships. Healing in this space isn’t about rushing or “fixing” it’s about reclaiming presence, strength, and wholeness in a way that lasts.
