Texas LMSW Clinical Supervision
Whether you are preparing to meet Texas LMSW clinical supervision requirements or seeking thoughtful guidance on complex clinical work, I offer a supportive, collaborative, and practical approach designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
As a Texas Board-Approved LCSW-Supervisor, I provide LMSW Clinical Supervision that fully aligns with all Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) and Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners (TSBSWE) requirements for LCSW licensure. Supervision is structured to support completion of the required 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience over a minimum of 24 months, including at least 100 hours of supervision with an approved supervisor, while also centering your growth as an ethical, attuned, and effective clinician.
Our work together goes beyond checking boxes. Supervision sessions are intentional spaces to strengthen clinical reasoning, build confidence, deepen self-awareness, and support trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and relationally grounded care. We will explore cases, process your developing clinical identity, and integrate practical skills around pacing, attunement, ethics, and self-regulation so you feel prepared for complex, real-world clinical challenges.
This is a space to bring your questions, stuck points, ethical dilemmas, and the cases that stay with you long after sessions end. You’ll leave supervision with actionable strategies, fresh perspective, and greater clarity in your work.
I bring a unique blend of lived and professional experience to this role as a U.S. Army Veteran, former law enforcement officer, and seasoned clinician with experience across medical and behavioral health settings, including inpatient care, hospice, and first-responder environments. I understand the realities of complex trauma, moral injury, high-stress systems, and relational strain—not just academically, but personally.
My clinical background includes training in attachment-based and trauma-informed therapies, couples and relationship work, body-based and nervous-system–focused approaches, and specialized work with preverbal trauma, OCD and BFRBs (Inference-Based CBT & ERP), and relationship dynamics. This integrative lens supports you in thinking beyond rigid protocols as you learn to thoughtfully adapt interventions for clients with layered and complex presentations.
In our work together, we focus on tailoring interventions to each client’s pacing, cultural context, and nervous-system capacity while also supporting you through the emotional, ethical, and practical realities of being a clinician.
Whether you are pursuing Texas LCSW licensure or seeking meaningful clinical consultation, it would be an honor to support your professional growth, expand your confidence, and help you build a grounded, sustainable clinical practice.
